Tales of the Maclean Clan with Scot AnSgeulaiche 11am to 4pm
Free with admission
Scot AnSgeulaiche, a traditional Clan Bard or “Seanachaidh”, will regale visitors with scurrilous, romantic and poignant tales of the Macleans - with plaid demonstrations for the eager.

Evening Castle Tour with Sir Lachlan Maclean 6.15pm to 8pm
Tickets £20 & must be booked in advance
A unique opportunity to meet the 28th Chief of the Clan Maclean, and hear fascinating stories of his heritage and the history of the castle. This is a small group tour and will include parts of the private side of the castle. Ticket price includes the tour, refreshments and a guide book.

Children’s Interactive Castle Tour 11am to 12.30pm
Tickets £6 per child to include admission to the castle
Hear scandalous and romantic tales about the Clan Maclean at this fun guided tour. Using children’s castle props, go back hundreds of years to re-enact stories of how life once was at the castle. But watch out for the prisoners in the dungeons! For children aged five to 13.

The Duart Castle Evening Ceilidh 7pm to 11.30pm
Tickets £10
Come along to Duart Castle and jig up and down the castle’s old byre to the celtic sounds of Calum Maclean and his ceilidh band. Have a wee taste of Scotland with whisky & stovies. Purchase food & drink supplied by the local Craignure Inn. One not to miss!

Children's Treasure Hunt 11am to 4pm
Free with admission. In the castle.
Follow the clues to find the treasure and collect your prize at the end. Good fun for all the family.

Children's Orienteering 11am to 4pm
Free with admission. In the grounds.
Find your way around the grounds and earn a small reward. More fun for the family.
