JUBILEE DAY

June 3rd 2002

A beacon was lit, at Duart Castle, at around 9.15 p.m. ,to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the Queen's reign. Many attended, and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Sir Lachlan toasted the Queen, and the fireworks began. They were brilliant, with the rockets being especially good.

It's not quite a beacon, but the whin is very bright at this time of year.
